The Invisalign Treatment Process

Your First Visit

On your first consultation at HighPointe Dental, we will discuss your orthodontic needs and whether Invisalign treatment is right for you. We will start with a free X-rays, photographs, and a diagnostic examination by one of our doctors.

Your Custom Treatment

We will use a scanner to create fast, accurate 3D digital images of your teeth. Working with the expert team at Invisalign we will develop a detailed treatment plan. This plan will model the precise movements of your teeth and estimate how long will your treatment time. Our doctors will even show you an animation of how your teeth will move. This animation can be a fun sneak peek at how your new smile might look.

Your Invisalign Clear Aligners

Invisalign makes your personalized aligners out of a material called SmartTrack®. This material is virtually invisible, so most people will not even notice you’re wearing them while you are straightening your teeth.

You will need to wear your Invisalign clear aligners 20 to 22 hours a day for best results. So you only remove them to eat, brush, and floss.

Your Progress

As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth will gently and gradually move into place. Our doctors recommend that you start wearing a new set of aligners every week and schedule office visits every six weeks or so.

Taking care of your New Smile

When treatment is complete, ask us about a Vivera® retainer. Vivera retainers are made using the same state-of-the-art technology as Invisalign clear aligners.
